Hi I understand why you use the cloudfare protection / verification when accessing the booksusi website, but... It says something like "you might have to wait up to 5 seconds"... This used to be the truth untill around 1 month ago. Then the wait started to be longer... These last days I had to wait 20 - 25 seconds or even more to be able to get past the cloudfare verification. Any chance that this can be improved to get back to the promised max 5 seconds? I mean: Waiting for more than 25 seconds for a webpage to load makes you look for a faster alternative... Just saying... ;-) /Dino |

I used to have those issues with cloudflare being slooooooooooooooooooooooooow, but that disappeared when I changed ISP a couple of months ago. Now cloudflare only takes a couple of sec.

The cloudflare firewall kicks in mostly for traffic from outside the DACH area. As FRANK has already pointed out, this might be also ISP related.

Hello Dolce Thanks for your answer! Since I dont know what DACH is, I am probably outside that area :) My point is: Are you, (I guess!) as a Cloudflare customer, satisfied with a service that promises "up to 5 seconds", but in reality takes 25 seconds? I was hoping that you might have some support plan with Cloudflare and were able to tell them that the current situation is not up to the service level that they promise themselves... @Dino: DACH - Germany (D), Austria (A), Switzerland (CH). Passiert mir von Deutschland auch ab und zu, wenn ich dort zu Besuch bin. Kein beeindruckender Service von Cloudflare, muss ich sagen. |

@Dino: I doubt booksusi has any useful support contact to cloudflare. The main ISP in the country where I currently live had their entire IP ranges on the cloudflare watch list for over 3 years, and this country has been a member of the EU for over 50 years and is not a former eastern European country. Being on the cloudflare watch list means no access to sites like bombengirls in CH etc.

We have just reconfigured the firewall to use another type of challenge (i.e. clicking a "I am human" button instead of some JavaScript magic), please advise if this works better.

@dolce: Are you sure that you still are running cloudflare check's? I don't see any cloudflare checks at all anymore, and the site is MUCH faster than before, even through I didn't really have an issue with the speed before your change.
